Business Development Manager (Download PDF)

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire business development funnel from prospecting all the way to contracting. You will work with the senior leadership to review existing business development plans and participate in developing strategies and plans to attract and retain clients that meet annual revenue target. You will be responsible for tracking and ensuring that marketing and business acquisition plans are in place to bring on board clients that the agency has the capability to serve at a superior level and meet set revenue targets. In addition, you will be responsible for nurturing and building an entrepreneurial mindset and skills to support growing pro table business across the agency. You will work with practice leaders to position, build and grow the different offerings of the agency.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in sales, business development or related eld and experience with design and implementation of business development strategy in a consultancy environment
  • An individual with excellent interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients.
  • Teamworking skills and a collaborative approach to work. Proven competence in forecasting and budgeting.
  • Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets.
  • Mastery in written and verbal communication needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally, as well as presentation skills.
  • Eagerness to provide optimized strategies.

  • Ability to conduct market research to determine market trends, conduct competitor analysis, and prepare reports around this
