As Account Director at APN, Josiah oversees the work of the entire APN accounts team and coordinates the development and implementation of communication plans and programmes. He oversees campaign design, strategy development and tracks the implementation of clients’ assignments. He has been involved in the development and implementation of communication strategies to support various private and public sector campaigns in Kenya and the East African region over the past 8 years. 

Communication campaigns he has been involved in have received Awards over the past few years. These include: Relaunch of Lifebuoy soap in Kenya, a social marketing programme for the World Food Programme, the 2009 Kenya Population Census, the Samsung NextHero Campaign, among others.  Some of the clients he is currently managing include:  Unilever – (Blue Band, Lifebuoy, Knorr, Rexona, Royco  brands), Coca – Cola, Ministry of East African Community/Trademark East Africa – Communication Campaign to educate Kenyans on EAC integration, among others.

A graduate of Daystar University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication and a minor in Business Administration. In 2010, he attended training on development of communication campaign in Munich, Germany coordinated by leading communication consulting agency, Porter Novelli.  Josiah has worked at APN since 2003. He previously worked at PR Masters Kenya Ltd. where he gained invaluable experience in specialized writing, media relations and journalism photography. He is a member of the Public Relations Society of Kenya.
“I love the smell of earth when it rains, the tranquility of the countryside, sharing a meal and drinks with friends, and for some reason I’ve always been the guy who knows a guy to sort out your problem,” says Josiah.
